My dear friends in Christ of Our Lady of Good Counsel,
It is hard to believe that we are more than half way through our Year of Hope! These last few months, have been a trying time, to say the least. So, during June & July, I invite you to focus with me, on various spiritual principals. I believe these principles will help us to keep our faith alive and even to strengthen it as we continue to endure this difficult time of quarantine and violence. As a family of believers, we will reflect each week on a spiritual principle via Flocknote messages.
Our Church, the Catholic Church, has experienced persecution in the past, an attempt to weaken our faith, but it only serves to make us believe, even more, in the one who created us: God. Persecution makes us stronger in faith and increases our faithfulness to the word of God.
I encourage you, my friends, to keep praying and never stop believing in the One who loved us first by giving His life to save us: Jesus Christ.
Blessings,
Fr. Darwin L.
The Flocknote messages will begin Sunday, June 7th, announcing the theme for the week. Daily messages, Mon.-Sat., will reflect the theme.
