Meetings are held weekly in the Holy Family Room Mondays and Thursday at 2:30pm. The Monday meeting is open to all who have a problem with alcohol or any other addiction as well as to those who have loved ones affected. Thursday meetings are closed and only those acknowledging that they need help attend. This meeting is called a “Promises” meeting and is about the gifts of working the “12 steps”. Both meetings include voluntary sharing of one’s experiences.

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice"
Baskets are in the church gathering area to accept your donations of non perishable food items, toiletries and other necessities. During these extremely difficult economic times one item from each person every week is requested to meet the tremendous needs of the communities served.
Volunteers in this ministry ensure that your donations are delivered to our local food pantry, the Father English Center in Paterson and other nearby organizations, as needed.
OLGC has joined with other local church and civic organizations in this annual effort to raise funds used to purchase ingredients for healthy meals! The meals are then packaged, at the annual food packing event, and sent to areas in need. The annual food packing event requires hundreds of volunteers and is a wonderful sign of our community coming together to fight hunger. For more information visit the Grains of Hope webpage.
Join with others to combat those things which threaten the right to life including abortion and assisted suicide. Information is provided to the parish each year on the annual March for Life. For more information on current Right to Life activities in the parish please click here.
Each year OLGC receives requests for over 100 baskets of Thanksgiving food. Our parishioners give generously in the weeks preceding the holiday and we have always been able to meet the demand. Volunteers in this program gather the week before Thanksgiving to sort the donations and prepare the various baskets required. Many hands are needed!! Click on the heading above for 2021 information!
Our annual visit to the OLGC Clinic in the Dominican Republic is usually held in the spring each year. There will be details in the weekly bulletin with the request for items that they need this year.
Anyone wishing to participate in this trip must be involved with the Mission of Hope Ministry.
This ready-help fund is for those who are in dire need. A collection box can be found at the church entry for your donations. This is a wonderful way to remind your children that they, too, can help families in need. Thanks to all who support this endeavor.
