GIFT Ministry
Faith Formation for all ages!
Growing In Faith Together is our integrated Youth Ministry and Religious Education ministry known as GIFT. Using guidelines from the Diocese of Paterson and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, GIFT Ministry offers developmentally appropriate programs, activities and catechesis that promote personal and spiritual growth to children in grades Kindergarten through 12.
The program uses materials from Loyola Press, based on a spiral curriculum that integrates the fundamental themes of the Catechism of the Catholic Church with Scripture and Catholic Social Teachings. It allows students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus by learning the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church. Loyola offers a multi-layered approach that allows students of all learning styles to deepen their Catholic faith using a variety of activities throughout the year.- Grades K-2 meet from 8:45-9:45am on Sundays, twice per month.
- Grades 3-5 meet from 6:15-7:15pm on Mondays, twice per month.
- Grades 6-8 meet from 7-8:15pm on Wednesdays, twice per month.
- Our two-year Confirmation program for 9th and 10th grades meets from 7-9pm
on Sunday evenings once per month.
LOOP, our Youth Group for Teens meets each month on Sunday evenings from 7-9pm during the school year. LOOP stands for Living Out Our Purpose, and is open to all High School age teens (including Confirmation students).
